The Process

Converting to an Academy and becoming part of a Trust is one of the biggest decisions that a school has to face in the 21st Century. Collective Vision Trust is committed to providing strategic direction for each school in the partnership.

Your school will no longer be part of a local authority and will have more autonomy as the funding will come directly from Central Government. The legal issues surrounding conversion are complex, however, the Trust will be able to support you through the process of conversion.

Likewise, schools who are already an academy but not part of a strong Trust are also welcome to become part of our group of schools.  We have worked closely with the DfE in the West Midlands to develop our Trust and would welcome other ‘single academy Trusts’ to join us and become part of a stronger Trust without losing the benefits already gained from academisation.
